I was in Sephora this past weekend talking to the skin consultant about my experience with Jonathan Product. I told her that a friend had bought me the Serious Volume Shampoo and Conditioner, and that I really didn’t like it because I found the shampoo thick and hard to spread. She suggested that I try his new Weightless No-Frizz shampoo and conditioner and offered to give me a sample. I was surprised to hear that he had come out with other products – since the show isn’t on anymore I didn’t know about them. Here’s the product description:
“Gently cleanses and purifies the hair with a blend of moisturizing ingredients as it softens, conditions, and smoothes damaged cuticle (the hair’s outer-most layer), shields the hair from environmental damage and color fading, improves manageability and shine, and strengthens the hair.”
“This lightweight treatment conditions, detangles, controls frizz, and smoothes and softens even the coarsest of hair. It shields the hair from environmental damage and color fading, improves manageability, adds shine, and smoothes damaged hair cuticle (the hair’s outer-most layer).”
I have mixed feelings about these products, and for the money, I’m leaning towards not recommending them, but they really do have a weightless feel to them. Today my hair feels light and fluffy and has a lot of mobility. On the flip side, there’s really not scent to these products and that’s very important to me – I want my hair to smell good. One other thing I should note, although the conditioner says that it detangles, I found my hair to be extremely tangly, more so than when I use other shampoos. Maybe I needed to use a bit more conditioner than was in the sample – I would like to try them one more time and this time use more conditiner. Again, I like the light texture of them – both the shampoo and the conditioner are creme based, but do not think they are worth the money.
P.S. Even if these aren’t my favorite, I LOVE Dirt!
