S & N
While making the publicity rounds for their upcoming release, The Other Boleyn Girl, the duo shot this incredibly dark and unsettling magazine cover. Because of the severity of Scarlett’s makeup, The Beauty Bug’s eye is drawn to her and Natalie is barely noticed. Natalie’s flawless neutral look, which can be achieved with MAC’s N Collection, features perfect skin and a smoky eye. Scarlett’s vampy look is foreboding, extremely uninviting and cold. Bottom line, it’s just not working – even for this goth themed cover.
A Perezhilton reader commented by saying, ““Might as well face it we’re addicted to love” gone bad.” Not a bad assessment.
What do you think?

Haha. Yeah, I think Scarlett’s makeup is pretty awful in that picture. >.

It’s such a shame, too. W is a great magazine, Scarlett and Natalie are phenomenal actresses, and “The Other Boleyn Girl,” (based on one of my favorite books) promises to be a brilliant film.
This cover just did none of those things justice.

Ha! Clever subject.
I totally have to buy this, regardless of Scarlett’s makeup.
