Aveda’s Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother

p305_smoothinfusionstyleprepsmoother115.jpgThe Beauty Bug received a sample of Aveda’s Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother at New York Fashion week in February. It was given to Her with the intent that it’d be Her best friend as She frantically made Her way from show to show. There was only one problem – She wasn’t attending any shows. Instead, The Beauty Bug put the product to test when She returned home, using it to help Her hair stay polished and styled as She made Her way from Her apt, to the T (sometimes running), through the T station up several flights of stairs, and finally a block to Her work. Not quite as glamorous as the runways in NY, but just as hectic.

The product performed amazingly – The Beauty Bug can definitely see how it earned its place at Fashion Week. After just a few days The Beauty Bug found Herself craving the pleasant lemony scent that’s light and fresh. It keeps Her hair smooth and sleek, without weighing it down. While the directions instruct to apply the product to damp hair, The Beauty Bug has been applying it to dry hair after She’s finished blow drying to achieve an easy, quick, stylized look.

For those who prefer to apply it to damp hair (and follow instructions), The Beauty Bug consulted with friend and follow blogger Michelle from All Lacquered Up – a smitten fan of Smooth Infusion. She tells The Beauty Bug that she too loves it, and that it’s a great combination of Hang Straight, and Light Elements Smoothing Fluid.

Best described as a hybrid formula between a leave-in treatment and a styling product, it combats fly-aways and adds that finishing touch to the end of Her hair routine. Whenever and however you decide to use it, The Beauty Bug guarantees positive results!

Smooth Infusion is available at all Aveda locations and at Aveda.com for $24.

I use this every day and love-love it!

I love this stuff too. It was one of their mailer samples – if you’re in their Advantage program (or whatever they call it) they send you quite a few postcards with samples. This one was my favorite by far!
