Exfoliation Proclomation – Dermalogica MultiVitmin Theramoliant

When is comes to exfoliation – The Beauty Bug means business! It’s only one of the most effective treatments for addressing aging skin. That being said, these past few weeks She’s been taking Her exfoliation to the next level with Dermalogica MultiVitamin Thermafoliant. She’s been biting Her lip, closing Her eyes, and applying the grainy gel to a dry face for more intense results. Trust The Beauty Bug ladies, it sounds worse than it is. Just apply with light circular motions, and you’ll get through it… with smoother skin.

The Multivitamin Exfoliant isn’t your typical everyday exfoliator or exfoliating cleanser. In fact, because She’s applying it to bare skin, The Beauty Bug has only been using it 2-3 times per week. It contains physical and chemical exfoliants (these are just acids that come in varying strengths and dissolve the glue-like bonds that stick dead cells to the skin’s surface) which help stimulate cell turnover and accelerate cell growth to keep your skin looking fresh and polished.

The best part? It’s self heating. It warms so the skin can better absorb the active ingredients including lactic acid, citric acid, salicylic acid, pure vitamin A, Vitamin E, a stable form of Vitamin C, white tea leaf extract, licorice root extract and soybean seed extract.

Just remember, since you have exposed new skin cells to the surface, you MUST use sunscreen!

Dermalogica MultiVitamin Thermafoliant is $48.

Have you tried Estee Lauder’s Idealist Micro D Deep Thermal Refinisher? It won Allure Magazine’s 2006 Best of Beauty Award. It’s probably more gentle, but you get the same results. You can apply it either to wet ordry skin. It really gets warm, though and sometimes it’s too warm for my sensitive skin, but my skin has never looked better. It’s $46 for a 2.5 oz tube.

I have got to try this. I am an exfoiliator extraordinaire. I swear I’ve lost pounds from shedding my dead skin cells. Thanks.

  3. Mr. Vitamin E

I would consider giving this exfoliator a try. It’s got a lot of good stuff in it, including Vitamin e. V.E. has proven over and over again how beneficial it is for the skin.
