Baring it all(most): Revlon’s Nearly Naked Foundation
Today The Beauty Bug experienced a whole new naked with Revlon’s Nearly Naked Foundation. It’s a great everyday foundation that’s refreshingly light with buildable (light-medium) coverage. The Beauty Bug recommends it for those “less is more” days. You know the ones She means – when you don’t want to feel like you’re carrying a layer of cake around on your face, but still want to make sure you’re not walking around foundation-less, scaring little children. Nearly Naked is the perfect fresh-faced happy medium – like your tinted moisturizer’s more experienced, wiser sister. The Beauty Bug applies 2 generous applications with a slightly damp sponge to get that natural, yet dewy look. Skin doesn’t get oily mid-day and it blends like your best friend.
The formula, available in 16 shades, reads like a skincare product. It contains SPF 20, green tea, black tea, oatmeal and jojoba to help maintain skin tone and texture.
The only downside – there’s no pump so you’re forced to attempt to get just the right amount out of the bottle and because of it’s light nature, some of the time, you’re going to get a bit more product than you bargained for.
Revlon’s Nearly Naked is available at drug and mass retailers nationwide and on Revlon.com for $9.99.

Hi, BB.
I use Nuvosa anti-aging products (they work great, btw) and I was wondering if NNF can work with their moisturizer?

It wore really well over my moisturizer – the moisturizer didn’t pill or bead up – so I’d definitely say yes! PS Need to check out Nuvosa.

I have NEVER commented on the internet before but this merits my inaugural post: I don’t use foundation and totally hate it for all the obvious reasons. I’m a not-much-make-up-girl–maybe some mascara to work BUT, I bought this on your suggestion and its awesome. When my totally unobservant husband-to-be says “hey your make-up looks really nice,” I know I’ve got a keeper. And he’s not bad either:)

Hi Leah and YAY, so glad that you tried the foundation and liked it! It’s definitely one of my faves. My mom actually mentioned this to me over the weekend and I was so happy to hear it. Congrats on your engagement – I hear he’s wonderful and your ring is beautiful!
