The common denominator on all runways: a return to irridescence
Day one brought makeup that was so well blended the models’ faces looked absolutely nude….
Other trends included:
Dabbed silver, white pink or gold powder patches high pony tails catch the light
“Plastic skin” (not dewy, not matte) achieved by using a tiny amount of natural lip gel and cheek highlight
Blacked out/electric blue eyes with cut-off false lashes [...]
The bar: A little no-name hole in the wall place that’s secluded in a back alley. There’s no sign - it’s just there. It’s barely lit -candles align the walls and tables.
The music: A subtle jazz number coming from the piano hidden in the corner. The piano player is old, and continues to take puffs [...]
Just to clarify, FTW stands for “for the win”. The Beauty Bug knows what you’re thinking, and no, “For The Win” isn’t a part of her regular vocabulary - She gets it from the Beauty Bug Boyfriend.
